SpeakingFingers Network was founded in June 2017 after a singular encounter that revealed the urgent need for accessible capacity building for Deaf youth in Nigeria.
From that moment, Treasures Uchegbu committed to building a platform that would equip Deaf adolescents, youth, CODAs and their hearing allies — pioneering Nigeria's first UN International Day of Sign Languages in 2018.
